the days go by like broken records... which is the title of a book by jeff levine & unfortunately quite true. jeff did the wonderfulest, down to earth comic stories and now his website seems to have vanished. any info on his whereabouts would be greatly appreciated. |

greg ruth is one hell of a nice guy. he did the excellent "sudden gravity" for caliber and a spectacular short for the sloth book. right now he´s drawing "freaks of the heartland" for dark horse. |

the two men still doing worthwhile work in mainstream comics are warren ellis and peter milligan. ellis writes a shitload of books, among which are the excellent transmetropolitan and the equally excellent planetary. his research weblog die puny humans is also essential. peter milligan is one web-site short of, well, a web-site. but this interview gives a pretty comprehensive rundown of his career. he´s currently writing human target for vertigo and x-statix for (eek!) marvel. |

a new book by mr. romantic comedy himself and i´m enjoying hell out of it. very modest, very stylish and at times, very british. his web-site has vanished, so no link here. sorry. |

here´s the new chemlab record. it´s nice to have them back. cyber-rock, pretty much. still needs a few spins to form a definite opinion on this, but there are defenitely some very nice bits in there... |
